As the Senior Motion Graphic Designer for Swiss Chalet, I approach every creative asset with the brand's heritage, voice, and business goals in mind. This consistent and business minded approach to content creation, for both static and video assets, is reflected throughout Swiss Chalet's branding and different marketing channels.

Branding

Working with an iconic Canadian brand with a 70+ year history is both exciting and at times, challenging, when approaching the development of new creative content and assets.

In order to remove the most challenging aspect of creative development, I turned to the development of a new comprehensive brand book. The brand book I developed for the Ionic Swiss Chalet brand emphasizes consistency, as well as providing a breakdown explaining logo usage, colours, fonts, and icons.
 
Consistency is always key when thinking about a brand's presence, reach, and impact. Even brand's with a long history, such as Swiss Chalet, needs a document outlining different aspects of the brand. The creation of this new brand book allows for creative to be consistent across all different channels, while also promoting trust, and reinforcing Swiss Chalet as a iconic Canadian brand.

Brand Presence & Reach 

Swiss Chalet is active in all Marketing channels, including print advertising, which supports the Brand's reach and presence outside of the restaurant.

I have created assets to support the Brand's initiatives, its presence, and its Franchisee's through the development of print, digital, and out of home creative.

The development of these assets not only focuses on increasing sales, but also highlight Swiss Chalet's values, growth, and brand awareness.

Limited Time Offers

In order to further support Franchisee's, I develop additional assets for restaurants (Window Clings, Curbex Signage, and Lawn Signs) in order to support Swiss Chalet's marketing calendar and Limited Time Offers. These assets focus on driving urgency sales, while aslo highlighting the value of each offering. 

These assets emphasize urgency through the "Limited Time Only" call out, while also attracting consumers to the price point. The colour and presence of the price point and the cravability of the menu items are emphasized in each creative to emphasize value, while driving sales and guest counts.

Digital Menu Boards

In collaboration with the Swiss Chalet Marketing Team, I led the implementation and relaunching of Swiss Chalet's NEW design for the brand's Digital Menu Boards. These Digital Menu Boards are found in Swiss Chalet's restaurants in their takeout area. These Digital Menu Boards create another marketing opportunity for the brand, highlighting limited time offers and core menu items.
